Winter is starting. Even here. Maybe we need some memories from the summer. Just to remember what we leave behind and what is to be found ahead. Got carried away, not referring to the photo. Sorry. :)



June or July 2008, casino beach, city of Rhodes, Rhodes island, Greece.

Ilford FP4+ (125 ISO) b&w negative film. Developed in Kodak T-Max dev. Scan from negative.

"Curious" seems to be the first word that comes to people's minds when they see Summer Joy by ~kingmouf... Well i think "curious" things are damn good ! And this photographer has a lot of curious photographs in his gallery. A must-check ! :) ( Featured by `Gonzale )

I like it! Interesting how much grain there is in the sky part. Is T-Max dev known for this?

Well, there is also the scanner part... Unless I print the photo in the darkroom, I cannot really say who/if is to "blame". :D

Right, the scanner could be responsible too. Noticed it in a few pictures of mine after you mentioned it, which were shot on relatively fine-grain film but show very coarse grain in sky parts (on scans, but not on prints).
